mail, web, photos, ... same old things like the played down "cheap" netbook
1.5 pounds! That's heavy when I have also to carry my "cheap" 1.3kg (3 lbs) netbook if not otherwise leaving it at home.
no one tells how difficult it is to use virtual keyboard; that deserves Apple grade UI deep redevelopment
why the black thick ugly frame around the beautiful screen; that keeps reminding me a photo frame and for God's sake it's a tablet
didn't do much over caching and prefetching; Job's browsing experience in my opinion is "slooowww.."
it's too App's driven; not content driven; need deep and serious re-thinking
I personally think the "touch" part requires better "textual" engineering; it's not that much a nice experience to keep "touching" a smooth cold screen; how about some "skin" feel?
no kidding - NO eye - how could any UI device do without visual sense? Next release? Did I miss that in the spec?
why not USB 3.0? Isn't it true the Apple always stays at the forefront? That's 4Gbps.
No IR - how can I use iPad to control my TV?:-) Yes, that's legacy, but ... IP enabled TV is not yet there.
...
However, I will buy one, just like I bought the Newton first day it arrived town 1x years ago. Price is RIGHT. Expecting next release soon. In the meantime, we really need to see how the SDK enables us to create new virtual world experience via this brave try.
